Well, folks… that’s a wrap! The 2025/26 Academic School year is coming to a close. Through a full year of ups and downs, we worked together as a community to support Harding and all of its wonderful people. Thank you for being in this with us! It’s been an honor to serve as your executive board.
We hope everyone enjoys the summer break. The new board will pick things up when we all meet back here in August!

PS: Congratulations to our graduates! We will miss you, but know we’ll see you around town. (Maybe even back in the halls of Harding when you return to play at the halloween parade with the Gaucho band, or visit our Carnival with your new Korematsu friends…) Oh, the places you’ll go! If you are interested in volunteering on campus or on study trips, please begin the process by visiting the District volunteer page: Volunteers. If you already have your district volunteer badge (nice work!) be sure to make an appointment with the teacher prior to volunteering in class. Always sign-in with the front office when volunteering. A visible volunteer badge must be worn at all times when on campus. Whenever on campus, remember to be mindful of student confidentiality.

Join the PTA!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE join the PTA! It’s very quick to do, and helps us reach our goal of at least 100 members! Joining does not mean you are committing to anything further!
All Are Welcome, No Specific Skills Required.
The PTA will meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month, unless alternative information is provided.
Community input and involvement are crucial to how the PTA works and the programs that we fund and provide to all students. Attending meetings and connecting to PTA communications on Slack, the weekly Enews newsletter, and Hardingpta.org will ensure that you are in the loop and your voice is heard!

Necesidades actuales de voluntarios para nuestra PTA que nos encantaría cubrir:
Coordinador de Voluntarios: Este es un puesto designado para ayudar a reclutar y organizar voluntarios de la comunidad de Harding para las necesidades de la PTA, del aula y de la escuela.
Equipo de Comunicaciones apoya– El equipo de comunicaciones necesita traductores, fotógrafos y alguien que asista al presidente de comunicaciones con nuestro boletín semanal.

Nuestro/s coordinador/es de voluntarios ya está/n trabajando arduamente en coordinación con los padres de clase, los comités de la PTA y el personal de Harding. Por favor, comuníquese si tiene algo de tiempo y energía para aportar este año.
Si estás interesado en hacer voluntariado en el campus o en viajes de estudio, por favor comienza el proceso visitando la página de voluntarios del distrito: Voluntarios. Si ya tienes tu placa de voluntario del distrito (¡buen trabajo!) asegúrate de hacer una cita con el maestro antes de ofrecerte como voluntario en clase. Siempre regístrate en la oficina principal al hacer voluntariado. Se debe llevar una placa de voluntario visible en todo momento mientras estés en el campus. Siempre que estés en el campus, recuerda ser consciente de la confidencialidad de los estudiantes.

さて皆さん…これで今年度も締めくくりです！
2025/26年度の学校生活が終わりを迎えようとしています。喜びも困難もあった一年でしたが、私たちはコミュニティとして力を合わせ、ハーディングとそこで学び働く素晴らしい人々を支えてきました。本当にありがとうございました！皆さまとこの一年を共に歩めたことを、PTA執行部一同、大変光栄に思っています。
どうぞ素晴らしい夏休みをお過ごしください。新しいPTA役員チームが、8月に皆さんと再会した際に活動を引き継ぎます。
それでは、秋までしばしのお別れです！

PTA、教室、学校全体で必要となるボランティアの募集や調整を行う任命制のポジションです。ハーディング・コミュニティの皆さんと連携しながら活動します。
• コミュニケーションチーム サポートメンバー
コミュニケーションチームでは、翻訳担当、写真撮影担当、そして毎週のニュースレター作成をサポートしてくださる方を募集しています。日本語の翻訳してみませんか？ぜひ連絡をください！

ボランティアコーディネーターが、すでにルームペアレントやPTA委員会、ハーディングのスタッフと連携して活動を始めています。今年、少しでも時間やエネルギーを分けていただける方は、ぜひご連絡ください。
校内や学習旅行でのボランティアに興味のある方は、まず地区のボランティアページ（Volunteers）から手続きを開始してください。すでに地区のボランティアバッジをお持ちの方（素晴らしいです！）は、教室で活動する前に必ず先生とアポイントを取ってください。
また、校内でボランティアをする際には、必ず事務室でサインインをし、ボランティアバッジを見えるように着用してください。加えて、校内にいる際には生徒のプライバシーに十分ご配慮をお願いします。
