The annual Harding carnival is guaranteed fun for all ages!
The annual Harding Carnival put on by the Harding Dad’s Club builds on the best parts of the carnivals of yesteryear; an all-American line-up of classic games, live entertainment, great BBQ, pumpkin patch, and carnival treats. The Harding Dad’s Club, which only started a few years ago, has grown from a handful of regulars to a legion of local businessman and residents, each with skills to bring to their productions at the Carnival.
Games that have been produced and run by the Dads include: milk bottle knock-down, cake walks, tic-tac-toe, golf putt-putt, balloon toss, high striker, and the new “dump tank” game. The carnival’s organizers are also keen on fielding low-tech, person-to-person entertainment including: jugglers, magicians, puppeteers, and stilt walkers.
The 2014 Carnival attracted more than 2,000 people to Harding Elementary School! Thank you to all of the volunteers that made this year’s Carnival a huge success.
