PTA Message
Thank you for taking the time to complete our End-Of-Year Parent survey! As part of the Harding PTA’s support of ongoing education programming, we are asking for parent feedback on the programs and activities that Harding PTA supported this year. These include:
- Physical education
- Recess coach
- Garden program
- Chapter One Tutoring (1st grade only)
- Special programming (assemblies, field trips, sixth grade outdoor education, puberty education, afterschool tutoring, early morning drop-off)
Your feedback is critical to helping the Harding PTA decide how to refine the programs we fund. This short survey asks which programs you most value, which you’d consider cutting, and what new ideas you’d like us to explore. It should take about 5 minutes.

Volunteer Needs…
Walk and Roll will be launching next year, and we’re looking for parent volunteers to help scan kids in on Wednesday mornings. Please sign up through this link if you’re interested. (We’ll coordinate a short training session over the summer.)
Current Volunteer Needs for our PTA that we’d love to fill:
Volunteer Coordinator– This is an appointed position to help recruit and organize volunteers from the Harding community for PTA, classroom, and school needs.
Communications Team supports– The communications team needs translators, photographers, and someone to assist the communications chair on our weekly newsletter.

Our volunteer coordinator/s are hard at work coordinating with room parents, PTA committees, and Harding staff. Please reach out if you’ve got some time and energy to spare this year.
If you are interested in volunteering on campus or on study trips, please begin the process by visiting the District volunteer page: Volunteers. If you already have your district volunteer badge (nice work!) be sure to make an appointment with the teacher prior to volunteering in class. Always sign-in with the front office when volunteering. A visible volunteer badge must be worn at all times when on campus. Whenever on campus, remember to be mindful of student confidentiality.
New Section of the ENews: Committees, Committees…
We’re rolling out a new section of the PTA newsletter for Committee announcements and projects! For example, our newly established legislative committee is busy working on their goals, and priorities, and will begin sharing resources and participation opportunities soon.
This is where we’ll announce special committee presentations at upcoming general meetings too.

Flip Academy: Afterschool Registration Now Open to Harding Students for the 2026/2027 School Year!
Afterschool University and IFlip Gymnastics are excited to announce a new partnership for our TK/Kinder – 5th grade Afterschool enrichment program. Looking for an active and engaging afterschool experience for your TK-5th grader? At Flip Academy your kiddo will bounce, build, brush, and bake (!) the afternoon blahs away, right here at iFlip!
With beginner-friendly gymnastics, hands-on STEM activities, art and cooking projects, homework help, and reading support, kids build confidence, skills, and friendships in a fun and supportive environment.Daily Transportation from Harding Elementary included! Our program is located inside IFlip’s new 21,000-square-foot state-of-the-art gymnastics complex at 2700 Rydin Rd, Richmond Annex (next to Costco).Registration for the 2026/2027 School YearRegistration is now open. Space is limited, and we highly recommend registering early to secure your spot.

The PTA will meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month, unless alternative information is provided.
Community input and involvement are crucial to how the PTA works and the programs that we fund and provide to all students. Attending meetings and connecting to PTA communications on Slack, the weekly Enews newsletter, and Hardingpta.org will ensure that you are in the loop and your voice is heard!

年度末保護者アンケートへのご協力、ありがとうございます！ハーディングPTAでは、継続的な教育プログラム支援の一環として、今年PTAが支援したプログラムや活動について、保護者の皆さまからのご意見を募集しています。対象となるプログラムには以下が含まれます：

TK〜5年生のお子さん向けに、アクティブで楽しい放課後プログラムをお探しですか？
Flip Academy では、初心者向け体操、実践型STEMアクティビティ、アートやクッキングプロジェクト、宿題サポート、読書支援などを通して、子どもたちが楽しみながら自信・スキル・友情を育んでいきます！
さらに、ハーディング小学校からの毎日の送迎付きです。
プログラムは、Richmond Annex（Costco隣）の
2700 Rydin Rd にある、IFlip の最新21,000平方フィートの体操施設内で行われます。

ボランティアの機会は常にあり、私たちは楽しいグループです。特別なスキルは必要ありません。どなたでも歓迎です！
PTAは毎月の第1火曜日に会議を開催しますが、変更がある場合はお知らせします。
コミュニティからの意見や関与は、PTAの活動や資金提供するプログラムにとって重要です。会議に参加し、PTAのSlack、週刊Enewsニュースレター、Hardingpta.orgに接続することで、情報を把握し、あなたの声が届くようにしましょう！
