PTA Message
We want to share an important update regarding childcare at PTA meetings:
At our most recent meeting, the classroom used for childcare was not left in acceptable condition. Because classrooms must be fully ready for instruction first thing in the morning, even small changes – such as moved teacher materials – can create challenges at the start of the school day. As a result, we have been informed that classrooms can no longer be used for PTA childcare.
The PTA will ask Principal Bell whether an alternative, non-classroom space may be available for future meetings. If no alternative space is approved, childcare will unfortunately not be available at PTA meetings for the time being.
We recognize that childcare support helps make PTA meetings more accessible for many families. If childcare is able to resume in the future, it will require shared responsibility from families to ensure children are supported and school spaces are treated with care.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us maintain a respectful, welcoming school environment.

Volunteer Needs…
The 2026/27 school year (Are we even prepared for the 6/7 journey?!) is fast approaching. And it’s going to need a strong, engaged PTA in place to support it. We need you! We need your friends! We need to recruit and elect and begin training new positions. Executive board positions, committees, volunteer sub-groups… this is a constantly matriculating organization. Many current PTA members are reaching the bylaws tenure of their roles or our children are approaching graduation. Now is a great time to reach out to us if you’re interested in shadowing/learning about the options. If you know of anyone who might be a good fit, and is interested in getting involved- please send them our way!
FYI: Our Recess Coach, Brittni, will not be able to continue in that role next year. So, we’re looking for someone to take it on next! This is a paid, part-time position that would be ideal for a Harding adult who already volunteers around the lunch/recess time period. If interested, please reach out!

Our volunteer coordinator/s are hard at work coordinating with room parents, PTA committees, and Harding staff. Please reach out if you’ve got some time and energy to spare this year.
If you are interested in volunteering on campus or on study trips, please begin the process by visiting the District volunteer page: Volunteers. If you already have your district volunteer badge (nice work!) be sure to make an appointment with the teacher prior to volunteering in class. Always sign-in with the front office when volunteering. A visible volunteer badge must be worn at all times when on campus. Whenever on campus, remember to be mindful of student confidentiality.

Spotted in the garden beds: Fresh mulch and newly scattered flower seeds! THANK YOU to our garden committee volunteers! Besides the PTA funded gardening program for our students, a group of PTA volunteers also maintain the additional plant beds/green space around the TK palyground and track. They could always use some help. So, if you’re a green thumb and have some energy to share… please reach out to us and we’ll connect you.

All Are Welcome, No Specific Skills Required.
The PTA will meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month, unless alternative information is provided.
Community input and involvement are crucial to how the PTA works and the programs that we fund and provide to all students. Attending meetings and connecting to PTA communications on Slack, the weekly Enews newsletter, and Hardingpta.org will ensure that you are in the loop and your voice is heard!

El año escolar 2026/27 (¿Estamos siquiera preparados para el viaje de 6.º/7.º grado?!) se acerca rápidamente. ¡Y va a necesitar una PTA fuerte y comprometida para seguir apoyándolo! ¡Te necesitamos a ti! ¡Necesitamos a tus amigos! Besides the PTA funded gardening program for our students, a group of PTA volunteers also maintain the additional plant beds/green space around the TK palyground and track. They could always use some help. So, if you’re a green thumb and have some energy to share… please reach out to us and we’ll connect you.

我們想在家長教師聯誼會會議上分享一個關於兒童照顧的重要更新：
在最近一次會議上，用於兒童託管的教室未按要求整理完畢。由於教室必須在早上第一時間做好教學準備，即使是教師材料移動等微小的變化，也會為一天的開始帶來不便。因此，我們被告知該教室不再可用於家長教師協會的兒童託管服務。
家長教師會將詢問貝爾校長，是否有其他非教室的場所可供未來會議使用。若其他場所未獲批准，很遺憾，家長教師會會議暫時無法提供兒童照顧服務。
