Volunteer Needs…
The 2026/27 school year (Are we even prepared for the 6/7 journey?!) is fast approaching. And it’s going to need a strong, engaged PTA in place to support it. We need you! We need your friends! We need to recruit and elect and begin training new positions. Executive board positions, committees, volunteer sub-groups… this is a constantly matriculating organization. Many current PTA members are reaching the bylaws tenure of their roles or our children are approaching graduation. Now is a great time to reach out to us if you’re interested in shadowing/learning about the options. If you know of anyone who might be a good fit, and is interested in getting involved- please send them our way!

Our volunteer coordinator/s are hard at work coordinating with room parents, PTA committees, and Harding staff. Please reach out if you’ve got some time and energy to spare this year.
If you are interested in volunteering on campus or on study trips, please begin the process by visiting the District volunteer page: Volunteers. If you already have your district volunteer badge (nice work!) be sure to make an appointment with the teacher prior to volunteering in class. Always sign-in with the front office when volunteering. A visible volunteer badge must be worn at all times when on campus. Whenever on campus, remember to be mindful of student confidentiality.
Eye of the Tiger: Insights into the halls & heart of Harding
Spotted on the boards of Harding: If you didn’t get a chance to check out the front entry board before break… I snapped this picture for you! The second graders displayed a 3-D cityscape, rainbow style, with pictures of their little faces peeking from the windows and doors. It was incredible!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE join the PTA! It’s very quick to do, and helps us reach our goal of at least 100 members! Joining does not mean you are committing to anything further!
All Are Welcome, No Specific Skills Required.
The PTA will meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month, unless alternative information is provided.
Community input and involvement are crucial to how the PTA works and the programs that we fund and provide to all students. Attending meetings and connecting to PTA communications on Slack, the weekly Enews newsletter, and Hardingpta.org will ensure that you are in the loop and your voice is heard!

Necesidades de Voluntarios…
El año escolar 2026/27 (¿Estamos siquiera preparados para el viaje de 6.º/7.º grado?!) se acerca rápidamente. ¡Y va a necesitar una PTA fuerte y comprometida para seguir apoyándolo! ¡Te necesitamos a ti! ¡Necesitamos a tus amigos! Necesitamos reclutar, elegir y comenzar a capacitar nuevos cargos. Cargos en la junta ejecutiva, comités, subgrupos de voluntarios… esta es una organización que está en constante renovación. Muchos miembros actuales de la PTA están llegando al límite de tiempo de sus roles según los estatutos o nuestros hijos se están acercando a la graduación. Ahora es un excelente momento para contactarnos si estás interesado en observar/aprender sobre las opciones. Si conoces a alguien que podría encajar bien y esté interesado en involucrarse, ¡por favor envíalo a nuestro lado!

Si estás interesado en hacer voluntariado en el campus o en viajes de estudio, por favor comienza el proceso visitando la página de voluntarios del distrito: Voluntarios. Si ya tienes tu placa de voluntario del distrito (¡buen trabajo!) asegúrate de hacer una cita con el maestro antes de ofrecerte como voluntario en clase. Siempre regístrate en la oficina principal al hacer voluntariado. Se debe llevar una placa de voluntario visible en todo momento mientras estés en el campus. Siempre que estés en el campus, recuerda ser consciente de la confidencialidad de los estudiantes.

Vista en los tableros de Harding: Si no tuviste la oportunidad de ver el tablero de la entrada principal antes del receso… ¡tomé esta foto para ti! Los estudiantes de segundo grado mostraron un paisaje urbano en 3D, al estilo arcoíris, con fotos de sus caritas asomándose por las ventanas y puertas. ¡Fue increíble!

2026/27年度の新学年（もう6年生／7年生への進級に備える時期ですね？！）が、あっという間に近づいてきました。これからも生徒たちを支え続けるためには、強く、積極的に関わるPTAが必要です。
私たちはあなたの力を必要としています！
そして、あなたのお友だちの力も！
新しい役割の募集・選出・引き継ぎ・トレーニングを始める時期に入っています。
執行部メンバー、各種委員会、ボランティアのサブグループなど、PTAは常にメンバーが入れ替わりながら成り立つ組織です。現在のPTAメンバーの多くが、規約で定められた任期の終了を迎えるか、お子さんの卒業が近づいています。
今は、見学（シャドーイング）をしたり、役割について学んだりするのに最適なタイミングです。
ご興味のある方、または「この人なら合いそう！」という方をご存じでしたら、ぜひご紹介ください。皆さんからのご連絡をお待ちしています！

ボランティアコーディネーターが、すでにルームペアレントやPTA委員会、ハーディングのスタッフと連携して活動を始めています。今年、少しでも時間やエネルギーを分けていただける方は、ぜひご連絡ください。
校内や学習旅行でのボランティアに興味のある方は、まず地区のボランティアページ（Volunteers）から手続きを開始してください。すでに地区のボランティアバッジをお持ちの方（素晴らしいです！）は、教室で活動する前に必ず先生とアポイントを取ってください。
また、校内でボランティアをする際には、必ず事務室でサインインをし、ボランティアバッジを見えるように着用してください。加えて、校内にいる際には生徒のプライバシーに十分ご配慮をお願いします。

休み前に正面入口の掲示板をご覧になれなかった方へ――代わりに写真を撮ってきました！
ハーディングの掲示板で見かけた作品です。
2年生のみんなが、虹色の3Dシティを作り上げ、窓やドアからは小さな顔写真がひょっこり覗いていました。本当に素晴らしい作品でした！
