Fundraising!
Dine Out!
Come support a Harding family-owned, local restaurant and our elementary school for our monthly dining-out Fundraiser on Wednesday/Thursday , September 17 & 18 at Tigon Vietnamese restaurant on San Pablo and Central, from 10AM-9PM. Tigon will generously donate a portion of their pre-tax proceeds from your meal to our school (including their full bar). Dine-in/ takeout/ and online ordering (pickup or delivery) are all available, but there are plenty of seats at the restaurant to eat with your fellow Harding families. Presenting the 2025/2026 Lunch/Recess Volunteer Signup Sheet, now complete with instructions! Let the signing up begin, but remember you need a volunteer badge before you can volunteer (https://www.wccusd.net/departments-and-areas/volunteer), and ALWAYS check in at the front office on your way in. More information on volunteering for lunch/recess can be found on the google sheet, but in short: volunteering at lunch is a helpful way to volunteer and get a glimpse inside the school without making a big time commitment. Also, if you wonder whether your kindergartener is actually eating lunch, this is how you can find out 😉
More than one person can help on a given day, the signup isn’t meant to restrict multiple people from signing up but rather to help spread out our help.

The amazing staff at Harding Staff works tirelessly throughout the year to support our students: let’s fuel them up with coffee and bubbly water! We are looking for volunteers to help keep the staff room stocked once a month: this is a super easy way to make a positive difference at school. Pick a month, sign up here, and we’ll be in touch with details including a short shopping list and reimbursement info (all supplies are funded by the PTA). Our volunteer coordinator/s are hard at work coordinating with room parents, PTA committees, and Harding staff. Please reach out if you’ve got some time and energy to spare this year.
If you are interested in volunteering on campus or on study trips, please begin the process by visiting the District volunteer page: Volunteers. If you already have your district volunteer badge (nice work!) be sure to make an appointment with the teacher prior to volunteering in class. Always sign-in with the front office when volunteering. A visible volunteer badge must be worn at all times when on campus. Whenever on campus, remember to be mindful of student confidentiality.

¡Nuestra primera recaudación de fondos cenando fuera del año!
Ven a apoyar un restaurante local de propiedad familiar de Harding y nuestra escuela primaria en nuestro evento mensual de recaudación de fondos para cenar el miércoles/jueves, 17 y 18 de septiembre en el restaurante vietnamita Tigon en San Pablo y Central, de 10 a.m. a 9 p.m. Tigon generosamente donará una parte de sus ingresos antes de impuestos de tu comida a nuestra escuela (incluido su bar completo). Presentamos la hoja de inscripciones para voluntarios de almuerzo/recreo 2025/2026, ahora completa con instrucciones. ¡Que comience la inscripción, pero recuerda que necesitas una credencial de voluntario antes de poder ser voluntario! (https://www.wccusd.net/departments-and-areas/volunteer), y SIEMPRE regístrate en la oficina principal al entrar. Más información sobre el voluntariado para el almuerzo/recreo se puede encontrar en la hoja de Google, pero en resumen: ser voluntario en el almuerzo es una forma útil de colaborar y obtener un vistazo dentro de la escuela sin hacer un gran compromiso de tiempo. Si estás interesado en hacer voluntariado en el campus o en viajes de estudio, por favor comienza el proceso visitando la página de voluntarios del distrito: Voluntarios. Si ya tienes tu placa de voluntario del distrito (¡buen trabajo!) asegúrate de hacer una cita con el maestro antes de ofrecerte como voluntario en clase. 我們今年的第一次餐飲募款活動！
來支持一間由 Harding 家庭經營的在地餐廳，同時也支持我們的小學吧！我們的每月餐飲募款活動將於 9 月 17 日（星期三）和 9 月 18 日（星期四） 在 Tigon 越南餐廳（San Pablo 與 Central 交界處）舉行，時間為上午 10 點至晚上 9 點。

🌟 リセスコーチ（/代用教員／ハーディング保護者のスペシャルメンバー）、ブリトニー・ジェノヴァより🌟
2025/2026年度版 ランチ／リセス ボランティア登録シート をご紹介します！手順付きで完成しましたので、いよいよサインアップ開始です。
ただし、ボランティアに参加するには ボランティアバッジ が必要です（👉 申請はこちら）。また、必ず校内に入る際には フロントオフィスでチェックイン をお願いします。
ランチ／リセスのボランティアについて詳しくはGoogleシートをご覧いただけますが、要点は以下の通りです：
- ランチタイムのボランティアは大きな時間的負担なく協力でき、学校の中の様子を垣間見る良い機会です。
- 「うちのキンダーは本当にお昼ごはんを食べているの？」と思ったら、ここで確認できます 😉
- 1日に複数人が手伝っても大丈夫です。このシートは人数制限ではなく、協力が偏らないようにするためのものです。
みなさんのご協力、ありがとうございます！ 🙏

校内や学習旅行でのボランティアに興味のある方は、まず地区のボランティアページ（Volunteers）から手続きを開始してください。すでに地区のボランティアバッジをお持ちの方（素晴らしいです！）は、教室で活動する前に必ず先生とアポイントを取ってください。
また、校内でボランティアをする際には、必ず事務室でサインインをし、ボランティアバッジを見えるように着用してください。加えて、校内にいる際には生徒のプライバシーに十分ご配慮をお願いします。

先週木曜日に目撃：学校が大人たちでいっぱいに！
バック・トゥ・スクール・ナイトにお越しいただき、みなさんにお会いできて本当にうれしかったです。先生に会ったり、教室を見たり、机の中をのぞいたり…まさに“学校生活のリアルな一面”を知る時間でした。

PTAに参加しよう！
ボランティアの機会は常にあり、私たちは楽しいグループです。特別なスキルは必要ありません。どなたでも歓迎です！
PTAは毎月の第1火曜日に会議を開催しますが、変更がある場合はお知らせします。
コミュニティからの意見や関与は、PTAの活動や資金提供するプログラムにとって重要です。会議に参加し、PTAのSlack、週刊Enewsニュースレター、Hardingpta.orgに接続することで、情報を把握し、あなたの声が届くようにしましょう！
