Welcome back to school, Harding Tigers! And to our new student families- welcome to our learning community!
The Harding PTA looks forward to working with you all throughout this 2025/26 academic year to support our school. And we wish you all the best with the first-week energy. We’re in this together. So, let’s jump in…

Wednesdays are Minimum Days. This means all grades get out at 2:05pm. (2:00pm for TK/K)
Please complete/update your annual forms on PowerSchool.

Every year at Harding, we kick things off with a first Friday of the year Ice-Cream social. This school community event is funded and hosted by the PTA. It’s casual, easy, and fun. (Come as you are.) We hope to see you there!

- Peter Busch, School Psychologist (Counseling Enriched Classroom)
- Nancy Esparza Gutierrez, School Psychologist Intern
- Eric Hughes, Resource Specialist Program (RSP)
- Monica Zarazua, 5th Grade

Are you connected?
In this age of information, the sources can be overwhelming. ‘Do I have all the apps? Am I on the right platforms?…’ It’s a lot. So, here’s a breakdown of all Harding communication flows… by priority.
- *Parent Square: Front Office/Teacher communications. (This is not a PTA run communications platform. This is an official school communication portal.) This is top priority- where teachers and staff send info. https://www.wccusd.net/resources/parentsquare-resources
- *The ENews: Our weekly PTA newsletter. Once a week, a general summary of school happenings/events will drop in your inbox.
- Slack: Maintained and organized by the PTA, this is our school community virtual workspace. (Intended for committees, room parents, volunteers, and Harding community members to collaborate.)
- Instagram: Our social media presence.
- Room Parent Emails: At back-to-school night, there will be a sign up sheet for classroom specific emails from your room parent volunteer. (Back-to-school night will be September 11th.)
Join the PTA!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE join the PTA! It’s very quick to do, and helps us reach our goal of at least 100 members! Joining does not mean you are committing to anything further!
All Are Welcome, No Specific Skills Required.
The PTA will meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month, unless alternative information is provided.
Community input and involvement are crucial to how the PTA works and the programs that we fund and provide to all students. Attending meetings and connecting to PTA communications on Slack, the weekly Enews newsletter, and Hardingpta.org will ensure that you are in the loop and your voice is heard!

水曜日はミニマムデー、短縮日です。すべての学年は午後2:05に下校します。（TK/Kは午後2:00下校）
金曜日に会いましょう！
Harding では毎年、学年最初の金曜日にアイスクリーム・ソーシャルでスタートします。
この学校コミュニティイベントはPTAの主催・資金提供で行われます。
カジュアルで気楽に楽しめるイベントですので、どうぞ気楽にお越しください。

- ※Parent Square：事務局・先生からの連絡。（これはPTA運営ではなく、公式の学校連絡ポータルです。）最優先。先生やスタッフからの情報がここに届きます。

ボランティアの機会は常にあり、私たちは楽しいグループです。特別なスキルは必要ありません。どなたでも歓迎です！
PTAは毎月の第1火曜日に会議を開催しますが、変更がある場合はお知らせします。
