Current needs:
- Flamingo flocking and spring auction donation solicitation! If you’re interested in helping with either, please email the volunteer coordinator (see below)
Ongoing needs:
- Lunch recess support/presence – sign up here. Our goal is 4 days a year per family. Having extra adult presence on the yard helps students and staff!
- Fundraisers: these happen all year long! email the fundraising chair if you’d like to pitch in

KOREMATSU BASKETBALL ALL STARS/STUDENT ATHLETES COMMUNITY BUILDING EVENT SATURDAY, MARCH 8
El Cerrito 6th grade boys and girls from WCCUSD are encouraged to register/participate.
Watch or participate for the All Stars/Student Athlete event:
SATURDAY, March 8, in Korematsu Gym, 1-3:30 pm
- Layup Relay
- Skills Course
- 3-Point Shooting
Donations at entry will go to the Korematsu PTSA to support Korematsu Middle School.
Registration for the All Stars event closes March 1.

All Are Welcome, No Specific Skills Required.
The PTA will meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month, unless alternative information is provided.
Community input and involvement are crucial to how the PTA works and the programs that we fund and provide to all students. Attending meetings and connecting to PTA communications on Slack, the weekly Enews newsletter, and Hardingpta.org will ensure that you are in the loop and your voice is heard!

Primer Festival de Poesía Juvenil de El Cerrito: Organizado en Harding, el 3 de mayo de 2025.
Oportunidades de voluntariado
Primero: obtener la autorización del distrito para ser voluntario (instrucciones aquí)
Necesidades actuales:
- ¡Solicitud de donación de bandada de flamencos y subasta de primavera! Si está interesado en ayudar con cualquiera de los dos, envíe un correo electrónico al coordinador de voluntarios (ver más abajo)
Necesidades continuas:
- Apoyo/presencia en el receso del almuerzo– Inscríbete aquí. Nuestro objetivo es 4 días al año por familia. ¡Tener presencia adulta adicional en el patio ayuda a los estudiantes y al personal!
- Recaudaciones de fondos: ¡ocurren durante todo el año! Envíe un correo electrónico al presidente de recaudación de fondos si quieres colaborar.

～ハーディングの廊下と心の中の洞察～
今月を通して目にしたのは、最も美しい教室の展示の数々—ブラックヒストリーについて学んだ生徒たちの成果です。ジョージ・ワシントン・カーヴァーの名言から、NASAのキャサリン・ジョンソンに関する事実まで、生徒たちの考えが誇らしげに廊下を彩っていました。
