Fundraising
SAVE THE DATE!
The Spring Social & Auction, April 26th, 2025. 5-9pm.
We’ve set a date! The annual Spring Social & Auction will be the evening of Saturday April 26th. We’re so grateful for your support as we continue to grow this event. This year, we hope to expand our catalog of items, so stay tuned for details on how to get involved!
Volunteer Opportunities
First: obtain district clearance to volunteer (instructions here)
Current needs:
- Flamingo flocking and spring auction donation solicitation! If you’re interested in helping with either, please email the volunteer coordinator (see below)
Ongoing needs:
- Lunch recess support/presence – sign up here. Our goal is 4 days a year per family. Having extra adult presence on the yard helps students and staff!
- Fundraisers: these happen all year long! email the fundraising chair if you’d like to pitch in

Eye of the Tiger
Insights into the halls and heart of Harding…
Spotted on BART: The fourth graders on a Field Trip! They went to the Oakland Museum of California to see examples of the state history and natural sciences they’ve been studying in class. Your PTA contributions helped make it happen- from the purchase of the tickets to the volunteer support. The whole grade sends their ‘thanks!’

Our teachers have carefully curated their wish lists based on classroom need.
If you’d like to contribute to your students classroom, this is a great place to start.
Join the PTA!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE join the PTA! It’s very quick to do, and helps us reach our goal of at least 100 members! Joining does not mean you are committing to anything further!
All Are Welcome, No Specific Skills Required.
The PTA will meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month, unless alternative information is provided.
Community input and involvement are crucial to how the PTA works and the programs that we fund and provide to all students. Attending meetings and connecting to PTA communications on Slack, the weekly Enews newsletter, and Hardingpta.org will ensure that you are in the loop and your voice is heard!

Recaudación de fondos:
Este mes nos tomaremos un descanso de la recaudación de fondos para centrarnos en los maestros y el personal. Los padres de las aulas se comunicarán pronto para ofrecerles regalos de la clase, etc. Y continuaremos con ‘Monedas en un frasco’ en enero. *¡La campaña de donaciones siempre está en marcha!

¡Ya tenemos fecha! La subasta social y anual de primavera será la noche del sábado 26 de abril. Estamos muy agradecidos por su apoyo a medida que continuamos haciendo crecer este evento. Este año, esperamos ampliar nuestro catálogo de artículos, ¡así que estén atentos para conocer los detalles sobre cómo participar!
Oportunidades de voluntariado
Primero: obtener la autorización del distrito para ser voluntario (instrucciones aquí)
Necesidades actuales:
- ¡Solicitud de donación de bandada de flamencos y subasta de primavera! Si está interesado en ayudar con cualquiera de los dos, envíe un correo electrónico al coordinador de voluntarios (ver más abajo)
Necesidades continuas:
- Apoyo/presencia en el receso del almuerzo– Inscríbete aquí. Nuestro objetivo es 4 días al año por familia. ¡Tener presencia adulta adicional en el patio ayuda a los estudiantes y al personal!
- Recaudaciones de fondos: ¡ocurren durante todo el año! Envíe un correo electrónico al presidente de recaudación de fondos si quieres colaborar.

Reflexiones sobre los pasillos y el corazón de Harding…
Visto en BART: T¡Los estudiantes de cuarto grado en una excursión! Fueron al Museo de Oakland de California para ver ejemplos de la historia del estado y las ciencias naturales que habían estado estudiando en clase. Sus contribuciones a la PTA ayudaron a que esto sucediera, desde la compra de los boletos hasta el apoyo voluntario. ¡Toda la calificación envía su ‘gracias!’

Nuestros maestros han seleccionado cuidadosamente sus listas de deseos según las necesidades del aula.
Si desea contribuir al aula de sus estudiantes, este es un excelente lugar para comenzar.

継続的な募集:
- ランチ休憩サポート/立会い: こちらから登録できます。各家庭で年間4日を目指しています。校庭に大人が増えることで、生徒やスタッフの助けになります！
