 | | Spring Concert, May 23rd | | This year's Spring Concert will take place on Thursday, May 23rd at 6:30pm in the El Cerrito High School Theater.
Both primary and upper grade students will have their vocal music concerts and the Harding Band will have their culminating performance for the school year.
**Kindergarten- 3rd grade students should arrive by 6:15pm to take their places on stage
** ALL band students should arrive by 6pm for warm ups, please meet in the band room at the High School.
4th-6th grade students and all guests should be seated in the auditorium by 6:30pm.
Please make sure ALL STUDENTS wear white shirts and dark pants or skirts.

Portola has been in the news!
New building, new commitments from the District to support academic achievement-- there is a sense that we have the opportunity to bring meaningful change to our local middle school.
GoPortola! ( www.goportola.org) is one of the many community partners committed to bringing about these improvements. They are currently running a survey to get input from the community on how to focus their efforts.
Feedback is requested from the Harding community.

The 2013 Harding Variety Show is coming!
Students are invited to:
-Sing a song
-Recite a poem
-Play an instrument
-Share speeches or a comedy skit
- And More!
Auditions: May 20, 21 from 2:30-3:30 in Room 204
Rehearsals: May 28, 29, 30, 2:30-4:30pm
Variety Show: Friday, May 31st, 7pm in the Harding Auditorium, THIS IS A FREE EVENT

Treats are $1/each.
Sales will take place after the 1:45pm and 2:05pm dismissal times at the Multipurpose Room door.

We are in need of a few interested parents to help get this program fully up and running.
-Contribute your ideas
-Purchase and/or solicit donations for the small weekly prizes.
-Help award the weekly prizes on Friday mornings.
This does not have to be a large time commitment. We want the students to be excited about the chance to win some fun prizes. We really need your help.
