Harding PTA


Children Do Better When Parents Get Involved!


Harding Elementary has an active, energetic, and supportive PTA. Membership dues are $16 per year to encourage 100% participation.

Meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month from 7-8 pm in the Harding library. Childcare is provided. Everyone is invited regardless of whether they have paid dues.


The PTA supports the following activities and programs:

  • Youth in Arts artists-in-residence program for all grades
  • After school playwriting and performance class for grades 4-6
  • Harding Edible Garden program for all grades
  • Weekly vocal music for grades TK-3
  • Monthly art classes for grades TK-3
  • Puberty education
  • Passport Night
  • School-wide assemblies
  • HASEP scholarships
  • An ice cream social and a K/TK welcome picnic
  • Jazz Art Night
  • Science fair and spelling bee
  • The Spring Concert and the Variety Show
  • Annual book fairs and library support
  • Kindergarten tours for prospective parents
  • A website and weekly e-news
  • Teacher and staff work day lunch, holiday treat day and Appreciation Week
  • Legislative advocacy for issues that affect our kids
